Boiler servicing
An annual service covers safety checks, cleaning of key components, a flue gas analysis and a written record. Prices vary mainly by boiler type (combi, system or conventional) and how accessible the boiler is.
What does it cost?
Every home and every job is different, so instead of made-up prices you cannot hold us to, here is what typically affects the cost of the most common jobs, and where to find our actual published prices.

Replacing a kitchen or bathroom tap is usually a straightforward visit. The price depends on the tap type, how accessible the connections are and whether the existing isolation valves work.
A dripping tap or weeping joint is often a quick fix; a concealed leak takes longer to trace. Prices depend on how easy the leak is to reach and whether pipework or finishes need making good.
Swapping a like-for-like radiator is simpler than changing size, position or valve type. The price reflects the radiator size, the condition of the valves and whether the wall needs making good.
Constantly running, leaking or wobbly toilets are usually fixed with new internal fittings, a new pan connector or resealing. Prices vary with the failure and whether parts are standard or model-specific.
General repairs, garden tidy-ups, fencing and other maintenance work can be quoted per hour or per job, whichever works out better for you. Larger projects are quoted in full before work starts.
Factor 1
How long the job takes is the biggest factor. Access, the condition of existing pipework and how much needs making good all play a part.
Factor 2
Where new parts are needed, you can choose to supply them yourself or we can supply quality parts, with the cost shown separately on your quote.
Factor 3
A job behind fitted units, under floors or at height takes longer than the same job in an open space, and that is reflected in the price.
Parts are separate from labour. You are welcome to supply your own fittings, or we can source quality parts and show their cost on the quote. If a call-out ever applies to your job, it will be stated before we travel, never added afterwards.
Our current hourly rates, plan discounts and example job prices are always kept up to date on the pricing section of the main site.
